Aria designed this proposal for an MG Sports Coupe. Aria Group envisioned using a clamshell hood which not only increased the "exoticness" of the car, it also provided a significant cost-savings by eliminating the front fenders. Aria built the quarter-scale model from digital data. The roof was designed to be unpainted aluminum to highlight the aluminum body construction of the car. The MG character of the car comes through in the shape of the grille and the MG-inspired sweeping front fenders. The broad, sculpted hood is designed to highlight the powerful V8 engine underneath.
