Honda's new Advanced Design Center in Old Town Pasadena required a state-of-the-art facility to complement the state-of-the-art vehicle development being performed there. Architect George Yu designed an undulating "cocoon" of translucent acrylic lining the walls and ceilings of the new design studio. Aria Group was contracted to create the tooling and fabricate the large acrylic pieces that would form the walls of the translucent cocoon. Aria Group executed the architect's vision helping to create an inspirational, high-tech space for future vehicle design.
