Rod Millen used the Pennzoil Toyota Tacoma racing truck to win the 1998 and 1999 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb event in Colorado.
Aria built a computerized surface model of the truck shape which was analyzed by aerodynamicist Dr. Joseph Katz. A quarter-scale polyurethane-foam model was produced to ensure that the computer model would translate well into a solid form. After verifying the suitability of the shape, Aria then cut the full-size body molds directly from the digital surface data. |
